Happy World Pig Week

Hi everyone,

Today is day TWO of world pig week!

World pig week runs from 5-11 Feburary 2024, and encourages people to take a pledge to keep pigs off their plate during this time. It also is an important time for us to spread awareness of the both wonderful and tragic world of pigs, how they are “used” in our society, and what we can do to help them.

For us at Contented Pig Inn every week is world pig week, so we are extremely excited that the rest of the world is joining us for a moment.

How can I help the piggies this world pig week?

Make a promise to the pigs!

Head over to the WPW website and take the pledge to keep piggies off your plate for 7 days. Many of you will already have made this a lifelong commitment, however we encourage our supporters to sign up in support of this important movement.

Spread the word!

By talking about the world pig week pledge with friends & family, and on social media you can help the important message to reach more people who may otherwise miss it. Encourage others to take the pledge too…

During the coming week we will be sharing relevant content on our website and social media to hopefully inspire people to keep pigs where they belong : in our hearts, and off our plates.
